Meet Coach Tamara Allison

About Me

I am Tamara Allison, a Virginia resident and West Virginia native. In addition to being a wife and mother of five children, I am also a proud grandmother to one grandson. During my formative years in Georgia, I cultivated a deep spiritual yearning for God, which has remained a driving force in my life. 

From a young age, I possessed a fervent desire to strengthen my relationship with Him and my aunt played a pivotal role in introducing me to the church and guiding me towards a life of service. This experience led me to join the church youth choir which in return, led me to sing on the praise team and church choirs in my adult years, igniting a passion for singing that has endured throughout the years. Growing up, my family instilled in me a deep-rooted commitment to serving others, ministering, music, and faith. My grandfather held the esteemed title of reverend, while my grandmother, an evangelist, and esteemed elder, left behind a legacy that I am proud to carry on.

During my youth, I faced numerous challenges in an environment plagued by drug abuse, domestic violence, infidelity, and adultery. Following my parents' separation, I found myself spiraling and becoming entangled in a dangerous lifestyle. At the tender age of 13, I began engaging in reckless behavior with questionable companions, and indulging in any activity that appealed to me. Eventually, I ran away from home in an attempt to escape, only to find myself pregnant. As my life journey continued, I married at 19 and gave birth to my second daughter, plunging me into a dark period where I experienced many of the same hardships as my mother.

Years later, I entered into a new relationship that lasted a decade and resulted in the birth of my last three children. During this time, I endured physical abuse, rape, drug addiction, and felt trapped with no way out. It was during this period that I realized my only hope lay in Jesus. I began attending church and faithfully sought solace at the altar during every service. It was there that I fervently pleaded with the Lord for deliverance from my addictions and the toxic relationship that ensnared me. I was determined not to leave until the Lord blessed and delivered me, and He did just that. I was saved, baptized, and received the gift of the Holy Spirit. Through my transgressions and trials, I now see that the Lord was preparing me to serve as a testimony of His glory, grace, and mercy, spite my flawed lifestyle. This testimony will aid in liberating other women from bondage and guiding them towards salvation.

Throughout my life, I had an underlying sense that there was a greater purpose to my existence. After devoting significant time to immersing myself in the church and nurturing my spiritual connection with God, I had a profound realization: I had been bestowed with a divine calling to lead others to Christ through the power of my testimony. Since surrendering my life to Christ, I have experienced extraordinary transformations. Looking back, I am astounded by the rapidity with which He turned my life around. Within a few short years, I obtained various certifications and a degree, and I am now happily married to a wonderful husband.

I have since taken on leadership roles in ministry within my church, community, and workplace. I have served as an adjutant, contributed to various events, assisted the less fortunate, participated in prayer calls, and aided in the establishment of several programs.

When I discovered the unique program offered by CLI, which combines ministry training and life coaching credentials, I was immediately drawn to this incredible opportunity. After completing my first class, I knew that I had made the right decision to become a part of this community. I am grateful for the training I have received at Christian Leaders Institute as I embark on my journey to becoming a successful Licensed Certified Life Coach Minister and Licensed Christian Officiant.

My aspiration is to inspire others in the faith and aid those who are in need to become the very best version of themselves and what God has called them to be.
