What is life coaching?

Life coaching is a personalized process where a trained professional helps individuals reach their personal, spiritual, and professional goals.

Are your coaches certified? Where did they study and are they a credentialed minister?

Yes. Tamara Allison is a Licensed Certified Life Coach and Licensed Christian Officiant. She received her certifications and Minister Licenses from the Christian Leader's Institute and Christian Leader's Alliance. You can check them out here: https://study.christianleaders.org/

How can life coaching benefit me?

Life coaching can provide clarity, guidance, and support to enhance your life, improve relationships, boost confidence, and achieve success.

What areas does life coaching cover?

Life coaching covers various areas including trauma, abuse, addiction, relationships, personal growth, health, and overall life balance.

What is your refund or cancellation policy?

Currently, all prices and payments are deemed final, and no refunds will be issued. Should you opt to continue utilizing the services until your designated end date, you may do so. Links for canceling and rescheduling are offered in the Calendly scheduling tool.

In some cases, specials, discounts, and more are offered. Please keep an eye on your email for special promotions!

What are my donations being used for?

Donations to The Hem of His Garment are used to fund our parent ministry: Chosen Vessels Ministries (CVM). CVM uses donated money to serve local communities by feeding the homeless, giving out self-care and hygiene packages, and supplying blankets, gloves, hats, and other essentials.

The desire is for money received from The Hem of His Garment Life Coaching sessions and donations to go toward efforts in build a transitional housing program to help women who are victims of abuse and addiction find freedom and deliverance in Christ by offering a temporary shelter for them to grow in their relationship with God, learn life skills, and find job placement with a goal of finding stable employment, housing and migrating back into the community. Money received will also go toward efforts to feed and supply other needed items to lower-income families and the homeless.

What does a typical coaching appointment look like?

During the initial meeting, the life coach will provide an overview of the life coaching process and discuss the roles and dynamics of the coach-client relationship. The life coach will listen to your motivations for seeking coaching and discuss the objectives you aspire to achieve. 

In subsequent sessions, you will have the autonomy to determine your desired outcomes for each meeting. You will have the freedom to establish your own goals and actions, ensuring that you remain in control of the coaching process and are willing to take accountability. Each appointment will concentrate on monitoring your progress and making any necessary adjustments or charting new courses as required.

How long does the process take?

There is no definitive answer to this question. However, a typical meeting lasts anywhere from 45 - 50 minutes. You will receive 2 weekly sessions, every week, every month after payment for that week or month has been received. The first 4-8 weeks mostly consist of discovering what your exact goals are and coming up with a plan to achieve those goals.

Some finish the coaching services in 3 months, some 6 months, and some even longer. It all depends on your journey. At The Hem of His Garment, You have control!

What if I have to cancel my coaching appointment?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your coaching appointment, please let us know 48 hours in advance so we can make that time slot available to someone else.
 
 You will have the option to reschedule or cancel within the Calendly scheduling tool.
